Microsoft Releases New Ninja Cat Wallpapers For Windows 10

Microsoft strikes again! The company recently released a few new wallpapers for Windows 10, more specifically for Windows Insiders that helped develop the new operating system.

The program, will, of course, continue even after the launch of Windows 10 on July 29.

But the software titan wants to show its appreciation to Insiders with these new wallpapers that feature the same Ninja Cat that has become somewhat of a Windows 10 icon overnight — ever since it debuted during the company event on January 21.

Along with a handy DIY kit to allow fans and users to get creative with their own designs.

Microsoft has even introduced a new animation in Skype to mark this moment. Those of you using the VoIP client on Windows can look for this Ninja Cat (also called Battle Cat) riding the T-Rex in the popular communication application.

And if you’re wondering where this Ninja Cat came from, Microsoft has the answer:

“For those of you wondering – yes, the original ninja cat was modeled after the amazing ‘Welcome to the Internet’ image by Jason Heuser. While the ninja cat started out as just a fun little internal joke, it’s been pretty neat to see our Windows Insiders and Windows and Microsoft fans really enjoying our version of it. We were fortunately able to connect with Jason and wanted to give him props for his amazing work in creating this design and inspiring us.”

Nice fan service!
