Updated with new features! TeamViewer, a leader in remote access and desktop sharing, have just updated their Universal app for Windows 10, adding in support for new features.

Including Continuum.

In a statement sent to us, TeamViewer announced that its Universal Windows app now provides users of Microsoft’s latest operating system the ability to remotely support or access applications from any Windows 10 device.

And thanks to the power of Continuum, users can also open TeamViewer: Remote Control on their mobile device and have it displayed on a larger screen such as a TV or desktop monitor.

This type of connectivity allows users the ability to use a mouse and keyboard for flawless input and easier navigation on the screen – all powered by the phone, of course. A massive new feature for the software, and with the potential to change how users and businesses interact.

The latest version of the TeamViewer app now also supports Cortana, the digital voice assistant part of Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile, showcasing how the company has worked closely with Microsoft in supporting new OS features.

TeamViewer’s Windows Universal Remote Control App is one of the ten most downloaded productivity apps in the Windows Store for Business.

And this latest update rolled out today will not only solidify this position, but also showcase how companies can best put to use the technological and feature set advancement of Windows 10 and the Universal app platform.
